Devlog 11: End of polishing...🔚


Introduction

Welcome everyone! As you probably already know, we are finishing up this game REAL fast! But no worries, we are here to catch you up;

This week was the last time we worked on the game and so everything had to be perfect! Programmers were polishing perfect mechanics, movements and sounds, while artists were rushing to get all the tasks left done. 

Programming

This week's programming tasks where mostly cleaning up the code and making sure everything works! We have solved some menu UI bugs, some cinematic bugs and we have also lost some more of our sanity... aside from bugs we have also added widgets! You can see them below.

Art

Fixing up!

Len was assigned to fix a lot of small issues around the level: making models with sharp edges round,  creating new textures or just moving a wall a few units...  

Patricija the same as Len did some small adjustments in the level here and there and adjusted lights. She also made the front door, so the players can not walk out of the level. Patricija also made widget images for David to implement for the pickable items and cinema workers.


Smoke time

Len added a Niagara system to accentuate the smoking area, everywhere in the level should be something going on!
